Active Matrix Display Using Nanowires
Nanowires are 20 nanometer cylindrical structures that are assembled on glass or flexible substrates. Researchers at Purdue University’s Birck Nanotechnology Center used nanowires as transistors as part of an organic light emitting diode (OLED) display.
