The F9 Series was introduced at IFA 2007 in Berlin, Germany. The piano black chassis is nice, but is getting somewhat old, but unfortunately there is nothing better than black to create an immersed sensation… I take that back.
Could you confirm whether it’s 100hz or 50hz. According to the Samsung website, it’s only 50hz.

You are right. The Samsung website (German, http://www.samsung.com/ch/products/tv/flatpanellcdtv/f9/index.asp) states that both 52″ and 70″ F9 series TVs do *not* state 100Hz Motion Plus as a feature. This contradicts a lot of blogs that have reported the contrary.
PRAD, a very distinguished blog about displays, states that the F9 series has a 100Hz LED Motion Plus technology (http://www.prad.de/en/tv/specials/ifa-preview-2007-part2.html).
Maybe some others might be able to clarify whether the F9 series is 100Hz or not. I will see what I can find.

I’ve actually downloaded the manual from the samsung UK website, and it also states that its 50hz.
